The Northern Virginia Chapter is the ACLU of Virginia’s local presence in the Commonwealth’s most populous region. Nearly half of all Virginia ACLU members live in the Chapter’s service area — the counties of Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun and Prince William, and the cities of Alexandria, Falls Church, Fairfax City, Manassas, and Manassas Park.
If you are a member of the ACLU and live within the Chapter’s service area, you are automatically a member of the Chapter. Please join us at one of our many community events!
Our mission is to support the Virginia Affiliate through local programs, workshops, and seminars designed to educate and inform the residents of Northern Virginia regarding various civil liberties and civil rights issues.
The NOVA Chapter Board meets the second Tuesday evening of every month in Old Town Alexandria. Call (703) 360-1096 or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to attend.
