Join with more than 500,000 Americans, including 10,000 Virginians, who contribute to the defense of civil liberties through an ACLU membership. Join, renew, or give a gift membership by using the links below.
Membership contributions to the ACLU are not tax-deductible, as members receive something in return (a newsletter, for example) and their contributions may support our lobbying efforts. ACLU membership, regardless of where your check is sent, means that you are both a member of the national and the Virginia ACLU.
The ACLU of Virginia offers several different levels of membership:
- $20.00 – Individual membership
- $35.00 – Joint membership (represents two members in one household)
- $5.00 – Student/Limited Income (minimum membership)
Click here to join or renew your membership online by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover)
