Alissa joined the ACLU of Virginia as the Director of Philanthropy in October 2018. She brings with her a background in nonprofit fundraising, donor relationship building, and a passion for building a culture of philanthropy. Prior to her ACLU position, Alissa worked for the Jewish Community Federation of Richmond, Jewish Family Services, LEAD Virginia, and the World Affairs Council of Richmond. She received her B.A. in International Relations from the College of William and Mary and her M.A. in Middle Eastern Studies from Hebrew University (Jerusalem, Israel).
